According to a recent study commissioned by LANXESS on the green driving habits of Singapore drivers, Singapore can save up to 144 million liters of fuel per year by using 'green or environmentally friendly tires. The study, undertaken by Frost & Sullivan was conducted over a period of nine weeks, with a total of 250 drivers, aged between 20 and 60 years. Of these, 30 are the owner of 'hybrid' cars.
Besides fuel, the study estimates that the use of green tires can also help to reduce emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 352,600 tonnes annually.
