Glass Fiber

Glass fibers are used to strengthen thermoplastics such as polyamides, polypropylene and polyesters.

Glass fibers are used as reinforcement in thermoplastic polymers like polyamides, polyesters or polypropylene. Glass fiber- containing thermoplastic compounds show high strength and stiffness while maintaining a high level of impact strength. These materials find widespread use in automotive applications and household / electronic appliances because of their low specific weight, ease of processing and tailor-made properties.
