LANXESS is invited to speak at a series of talks titled "World of Chemicals and how they affect our daily lives", organized by the Singapore Chemical Industry Council (SCIC). Targeted at tertiary students, the first presentation will be held on 8 March 2011.

Under the theme "LANXESS Celebrates International Year of Chemistry", LANXESS is collaborating with the Singapore Ministry of Education to stage a free concert by the Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) at the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This is the second year LANXESS is supporting the SNYO. LANXESS customers, employees and their families are invited to spend a scenic Sunday afternoon listening to the orchestra come 10 July 2011.
