LANXESS opens Asia’s most modern butyl rubber plant in Singapore

LANXESS is the first butyl rubber manufacturer to have a wholly-owned global presence.

“This is the largest investment in the company’s history, and underlines the importance of Asia as a location for our synthetic rubber business,” said Axel C. Heitmann, LANXESS’ Chairman of the Board of Management during the opening ceremony.

As part of the LANXESS SNYO CLASSIC program this year, three of Singapore’s most talented young musicians went on a study tour in the United Kingdom (UK) in late May, where they had the opportunity to hone their craft under the tutelage of renowned cellist Natalie Clein for a week in London.
